The movement is meant to save, protect and preserve our ancient and beloved motherland Punjab, Punjabi Language, Punjabi nation, Punjabi culture and future Punjabi generations."Our mission is to promote Punjabi language, literature art and culture. And to struggle for the just cause of Punjabi language and keep Punjab united at all costs".

Punjabi Language Movement has launched a peaceful struggle for the Just cause of Punjab and Punjabi.The movement is being organized at Punjab level to end the 150 years old discrimination and ban on education in mother tongue in Punjab at primary level.PLM is the flag bearer of Punjab and Punjabi and Punjabieat.PLM needs your contributions ,to promote Punjabi language, literature ,art and culture, to protect Punjabi rights, to defend the integrity of motherland Punjab,and to create awareness among the Punjabi people about their endangered ancient motherland ,culture, language, heritage,national identity and historic existence. With the help of your contributions, support, donations an cooperation Punjabi Language Movement is committed to undertake the following actions and programs in Punjab.

1) To hold the mega event of “Punjabi Pug Cultural Mela” on First waisakh”.i.e. 13 April every year on Punjab level.

2)PLM is to organize First Punjabi Language Conference titled ”Punjabi Language through centuries” on 18 April 2011 in Lahore in which Punjabi prominent scholars, writers, intellectuals will be presenting their research papers. More than 500 guests are expected to attend the conference from all over Pakistan .Including Sindhi, Pashto and Bloch writers and intellectuals.(Each year PLM may hold a conference on the issues concerning Punjab and Punjabi)The event will be followed by a musical event.

3) To provide Punjab its own voice on national issues and issues concerning Punjab and Punjabi. PLM is to set up its chapters in all the major cities, town and areas of Punjab. Punjab needs a 100% true and committed political Punjabi national organization to handle the complexed and sensitive issues cropping up on daily basis threatening the very existence of Punjab and Punjabi. Anything that is suppose to cause harm of any sort to the integrity of our beloved mother land Punjab, Punjabi Nation, Punjabi language or Punjab culture is to be confronted with full force. Punjab belong to Punjabis.PLM is right here to defend the integrity of our beloved motherland Punjab.

4) PLM intends to advertise massively in national newspapers in order to popularize its agenda among the masses of Punjab.And to enable PLM to launch its membership drive and to develop its offices in each and every major city, town and village of Punjab in order to organize itself as major political force in Punjab that has roots among the people.

5) Each month a grand seminar, conference, corner meeting or a public meeting or rally on the streets is to be organized in each and every city town and village of Punjab to create awareness among the masses about their ancient Punjabi identity and to educate young Punjabis about their future responsibilities towards their mother tongue, motherland, culture and the Nation.

6) Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabieat in true sense is a mission is what PLM is determined to undertake and involve Punjabi people in the movement in it from gross root level..For this purpose PLM needs to launch its own Punjabi National news, info and entertainment channel .And that channel is to educate and create awareness among Punjabis about Punjab, Punjabi culture, Punjabi Language and about the political and non-political issues being confronted by today’s Punjab. A true Punjabi national channel is the need of hour and is a very basic requirement to promote Punjabi cause. As non-Punjabi print and electronic media is biased against Punjab and Punjabi and is working to divide Punjab and is openly and directly involved in spreading hate against Punjab, Punjabi language, Punjabi culture and Punjabi nation around the globe. Punjabis need their very own national Punjabi news channel at earliest to confront and counter the media trail of Punjab, Punjabi langague,Punjabi nation and Punjabi culture.

7) PLM plans to bring out a national Punjabi News paper of international standard to lay a solid foundation towards developing and promoting the concept of Punjabs very own Punjabi print and electronic media.

8) Through the printed word PLM intends to Publish a weekly newsmagazine of its own to create awareness among the Punjabi masses concerning national, regional and international issues directly or indirectly related to Punjab.

9) PLM intends to go online and has to launch couple of dynamic websites to promote Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabieat.And to preserve, protect and promote Punjabi language, literature, art and culture

10).PLM needs to Publish and distribute among the Punjabi masses millions of brochures, handbills ,flags, booklets, hoardings and stickers to in order publicize and to spread its message across. There are more than 100 million Punjabis but lingually and culturally they are enslaved. During the last 100 years under a well thought conspiracy to eliminate Punjabi Language from Punjab and to change its language Lahore has turned in to the grave yard of Punjabi Language and the rest of Punjab has come the slaughter house of Punjabi language and culture.PLM is to work to change this cultural brutalizing and 150 years old discriminatory scenario in order to save Punjab and Punjabi from extinction.

In shortest possible words due to the 150 years old continuous official discrimination, exploitation and state sponsored terrorism, exploitation and discrimination Punjabi language is dying in Punjab. The language of Punjab has almost changed. Punjab is under an alien cultural and lingual occupation. We need to end this horrible scenario where a nation of more than 100 million people and its motherland is dying by giving up and surrendering its very own thousands of years old mother tongue, culture and national identity. Punjabi Language if not enforced as medium of instruction in Punjab it will be wiped out from Punjab within next 50 years. Punjabi Language Movement is right here to launch a “jihad” against the official exploitation, discrimination and terrorism against Punjabi language, Punjabi people, Punjabi culture and motherland Punjab.
