Sindh dispatches 8,000 pints of blood for soldiers

Sindh is contributing its blood to the war against terrorism and more than 8,000 pints of blood are being sent for the solders’ welfare,” Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri told the media on Wednesday, on the occasion of dispatching of blood donations for soldiers of the Pakistan Army engaged in fighting militants.

The information minister said that the Armed Forces were efficiently and selflessly carrying out the operation in areas where terrorists had taken over, and that the people of Sindh salute their spirit, and the spirit of the Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) who sacrificed their everyday lives to make Pakistan terrorist free.

“Our heats are with the Jawaans who are fighting with courage; the IDPs who are our heroes; and with the martyrs of this operation, and their families and loved ones. We salute their incomparable sacrifices,” Marri said.

She further said that people across Sindh had donated blood on the birthday of Benazir Bhutto as a tribute to their martyred leader.
