PML-N office-bearer gunned down 

KARACHI: An office-bearer of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was shot dead here on Tuesday.As per details, Syed Ejazul Hassan Zaidi, 45, was gunned down at New Challi within the jurisdiction of Meethadar police station. SHO Nasir Tanoli said that the deceased was an oath commissioner of the City Court and was also the provincial general secretary of PML-N. The incident took place when the deceased was waiting for a passenger bus while an unidentified man shot him and fled the scene. Zaidi received a bullet wound on his head and died on the spot. According to SHO Tanoli, this was a target killing. The police also suspects that the incident could be in retaliation to the killing of Advocate Mazharul Hassan, an activist of a banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan, who was killed recently. Zaidi’s body was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi (CHK) where scores of party workers and lawyers arrived after getting the news. The deceased was a resident of the Landhi area and was the father of four children. 
PML-F man shot dead: In another incident of target killing, unidentified culprits shot a worker of the PML-Functional when he was sitting at a tea shop located near Alladin Park within the limits of Aziz Bhatti police station. The deceased, Kamal Pathan, received three bullets and died on the spot. Pathan had recently shifted to Karachi
from interior Sindh.
