83 VIPs defaulter of Sindh House Islamabad

KARACHI - At least 83 federal and provincial ministers, bureaucrats, judges, MNAs, MPAs, senior police officials and other VIP personalities are defaulters of Sindh House Islamabad, well-placed sources told The Nation here on Wednesday.
According to details provided by Works and Services Department to Sindh Assembly, the high-ups of the federal as well as provincial governments were found defaulter of Rs4.755 million in terms of residential facility, which they availed at Sindh House Islamabad in 2008 and 2009, but did not clear their dues. 
The document unveiled that some former ministers, who were part of the caretaker government, were also defaulters of the Sindh House, a property of Sindh government and functions under provincial Works and Services Department. 
According to documents available with The Nation, Nazir Ahmed Mallah, Chief Security Officer of the President House Islamabad is defaulter of Rs0.775 million, Jamil Soomro Media Advisor and Advisor to President House on Sindh is defaulter of Rs0.636 million, Gul Khan Kaka C/O President House Islamabad owes Rs 0.825 million, S. Khalid Ali Gardezi Additional Secretary (Finance) of Sindh Government Rs0.680 million, Ishaque Lashari DG Administration President House Islamabad Rs 37,200, Bilal Sheikh C/O President House Islamabad Rs 0.968 million and Ghulam Sarwar Dars PS to Minister for Overseas Pakistanis is found defaulter of Rs0.477 million. 
Jam Karam Ali, former provincial caretaker minister for IT, owes defaulter of Rs 6,755 in this regard. 
Several federal government officials who acquired residential facility as permanent occupants in Sindh House Islamabad are also defaulters of a huge amount of money.
Similarly, a number of provincial ministers were also found defaulters of Sindh House Islamabad as they acquired residential facility there on various occasions but did not clear their dues. 
Among the ministers, Ms. Tauqir Fatima Bhutto, Sindh Minister for Women Welfare Department, is defaulter of Rs19,269. Provincial ministers and advisors to Chief Minister Sindh, who are among defaulters include Qurban Ali Behan, Advisor to CM Sindh (Rs16,751); family of Dr. Mohan Lal Sindh, Minister for Minority Affairs, (Rs3,010); Mrs. Nargis N.D. Khan, Sindh Minister for Social Welfare, (Rs4,172); Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, Sindh Minister for Industries, (Rs1,200); Zahid Bhurghari, Sindh Minister for Fisheries Department (Rs5,810); Akhtar Jadoon, Sindh Minister for Transport, (Rs13,000); Sajid Jokhio, Sindh Minister for Zakat and Ushr, (Rs6000); Ms. Sassui Palijo, Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism, (Rs1,200); Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Sindh Minister for Revenue, (Rs1,652); Ms. Shazia Marri, Provincial Minister for Information, (Rs11,620); Jalil Memon, Sindh Minister for Cooperation, (Rs2,660); Faisal Subzwari, Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, (Rs3,122); Imamuddin Shauqeen, Advisors to CM Sindh including Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh and Gul Muhammad Lat are also among the defaulters.
